Our traditional approach
We are offering a "back to basics" traditional Catholic curriculum that focuses on the whole child – mind, body and spirit. We offer a balanced, traditional curriculum that includes visual arts, music, poetry, literature, fitness and life skills. We emphasize hands-on learning, reading and cursive writing. Saint Mary's will focus on the way children learn best at each stage of life and will build on the foundation of previous stages.
Grades K-5 are taught the following subjects in a way that is tailored to their age and builds upon the previous year:
- Language Arts
- Mathematics
- History, Geography and Cultural Studies
- Science
- Fine Arts, Music and Poetry
- Religion
- Physical Education
Our religion classes will be held daily and all students will have time for prayer and reflection. Religion classes are attended by all students. This is an integral part of our program.
