Education built on tradition and faith
Saint Mary's is a newly formed Catholic-centered elementary school based in Staunton / Augusta County, Virginia. We offer affordable, faith-based education for grades K-5 starting Fall 2024, with grades 6-8 to be added in consecutive years. Utilizing traditional, time-tested teaching methods, we aim to challenge and nurture each child according to their abilities. Children of all faiths are welcome to apply for admission.
Our vision and mission
We believe all children deserve quality education that instills academic excellence, moral and spiritual development, service to others, and life skills. In 2023, a group of local Catholics saw the need for a Catholic-centered school in the Shenandoah Valley. Saint Mary’s School was then established.
Saint Mary’s School is a fully independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit (pending) school, governed by a Board of Directors. We employ qualified teachers and a small staff who embrace the value of faith-based education. All funds beyond salaries and daily operations will go toward curating resources and an inspiring learning space for our students.
